John McConnell, M.A., Applied Behavioral Science

For over twenty years John's passion has been awakening people to their true desires and empowering them to make those dreams real. This passion grew out of his personal journey to know and embody his purpose — a vision that is reflected in the Ascent Institute. John has been engaged in a lifelong study and practice of leadership, honing his skills in settings that include academic teaching, Himalayan climbing expeditions, corporate boardrooms, 1:1 coaching, and wilderness-based leadership courses. John augments his work with stunning photographs and compelling stories gleaned from his adventures.
